  1. I say yes, because if we stop other countries from using the weapons on us.

  2. I do not think it was ok for the saints to award they players for causing other players injuries. I think this because it is unsportsmanlike and cruel. This is other peoples’ lives and they should not go out of their way to injure them and possibly ruin their career.

  3. i don’t think it is the best idea for them to get involved. They have there own country we have ares and they killed a lot of people for not reason. And the war just ended and if that country wants to kill citizens for no reason i do not even think that the U.S. Government should go anywhere near that problem because it has nothing to do with us or them. Let the country do what it wants and i think the U.S. Government should be involved.

  4. no i think that we should just stay to our slef but then again what happens when we need help so we might want to help other people if the ask but if they dont lets stay to our slef

  5. i think that the u.s government should get involved who cares if they are not from the u.s they are people and they are die and that is not rite they need are help and i think that if u.s was in a war and we were losing they would help use

  6. NO! i don’t think it is appropriate for the government to get involved with another countries government. I think this because it is not our problem what happens in another country.

  7. WHAT???? no i think the United States is done dealing with Iraq..Irag needs to find their own ways to solve their own problems

  8. No , i dont believe that the United States should ever get in another country’s business . They dont get involved in our business , so it wouldnt be fair if we got involved in their own issues . We deal with our issues such as killing and such, and they deal with theirs .

  9. I think it can be nesessary at times. I think it is the world’s responsability to make sure terrible people can not rise to power. I can think of overinterfearing, though, in cases where the leader may not be too bad.

  10. No they really can’t, but they can ask them to stop what they are doing but they can’t control what they what they are doing and they really don’t have the right to do that either.

  11. I think that it is okay for the U.S. to try and help but not to much. We should help because it is the right thing to do but not too much because our country is already having money problems and with all the money we spent in Iraq I think we need to recover a little bit first before going to far with it.

  12. i don’t think that the U.S government should get stay out of it .and what is going on in Syria is bad but i do not think having the U.s. intervene will do any good

  13. It is okay if and only if the country is totally super kewl bros with each other. It is bad for our country to interact with that type of country. Most of the time, we don’t do this. We are our own country but only if we and another country are bros.

  14. I don’t think that the U.S. should be involved with other countries problems. It is a lot of money and it seems like attempting to help wont do much good at all. We should worry about our own problems like the economy instead of trying to fix everyone else’s problems.

  15. This is a touchy subject. I believe that we shouldn’t meddle in other countries, especially since we just left Iraq. This country needs support and I hope they get it, just not from us. We lack the financial means to do this, and need no more tension between countries. Let us not replay the war in Iraq in Syria.

  16. I don’t think that the united states should get involved with other countries problems. The united states has problems there self’s and they should just work on the problems in the u.s.

  17. I think that it’s none of our business in their country, we need to focus on matters at home and let them deal with their problems. We wouldn’t want others getting in our business so why should we be in their’s.

  18. I don’t believe that we should just ignore it. Innocent people are dying, humanity is being lost, and if we don’t get involved it could spread or more people could just keep dying. It seems wrong to get involved though since it isn’t our country nor is it our fight. Other countries have their own affairs and they should deal with it, but if innocent people keep dying, then yes, we should get involved. I’m not saying we should go and kill, but America could evacuate people and in the path of destruction and bring in medical supplies.

  19. I think the United States government should get involved. I think we need to keep in our own business. The things that are going on in Syria is bad, but i really don’t think putting our input is a good thing either.

  20. I don’t think we should have to pay attention to other countries. We have enough going on in our country that we need to pay attention. W e shouldn’t have to be worrying about other countries because i bet that the people in other countries don’t worry about our country

  21. i think the government should only become involved if they have solid prof that the country is denying there people rights to life. However if there is significant and trustful prof then we should help them whether that being means using politics or military to help them.

  22. I think we should help, but then again i think we shouldn’t. I think we should because what happens when our country gets in trouble and we need help. But we shouldn’t because it’s their country and their problem. We could just leave them alone.

  23. I do not think that the U.S government should get involved. We just left Iraq after an extremely long war. Whatā€™s going on in Syria is bad but I do not think that having the U.S intervene will do any good. We need to keep our BUSINESS to OURSELVES and not get involved in situations like this.

  24. Yes, I believe that it is appropriate for the United States to become involved in a situation that the government of another country is accused of killing and imprisoning its own citizens because nobody has the right to do that to others. I think that it is okay for the U.S. to intervene because it’s the right thing to do and they should think like what if it were them being killed and imprisoned.

  25. i think our government should not get involved.

  26. I don’t think we should. It would be a very risky situation because you have to choose a side, and we would side of the victims. The government might even fight us because of not siding with them. This would create another conflict for the US, just after we started sending troops home.

  27. I think that it can be ok. It can if we are trying to help. If we are not doing this then it is not ok.

  28. I think the US should stay out, because we just had a long war, and we don’t need to keep going. It is also causing the US and Syria lots of money, and its a waste. Also we have enough of our own problems that we should not have to worry about what the other countries are doing.

  29. I dont think that a government should accuse any one country for killing people. I think that if a government is a good responsible government, they will take all actions to try and stop or prevent this from happening again.

  30. I think that the U.S. should be able to get involved if a government is maybe killing it’s own people, because the people then have no protection. So we should just help them out however we can without offending people.

  31. I don’t think that it is okay for the United States to get involved in another country’s business. I think they should stay out of Syria’s business. But at the same time they should try and get as many people as they can out of there. But if they aren’t careful they will get really mad and try to start a war with them.

  32. I think that the U.S should be involved. When the U.S fights in a small country they are able to bring in mass amounts of troops to fight so they can end it faster.

  33. i think we should stay out of it because we just had a big war and there isn’t really a reason to go back there.

  34. I don’t think that the U.S. should intervene because we just ended a long war in Iraq. Also, if we intervene, there is a possibility that we might make it worse and create another long war across the country. That will just make the economy in the U.S. even worse then what it is already.

  35. No I don’t think that we should get involved because we already have many problems and its not our business. We are also at the risk at getting ourselves into trouble by getting involved.

  36. i don’t think the U.S. should get involved. We clearly have our own problems in the U.S.. We don’t need theirs too.

  37. I do think the United States should get involved because it was won of their own troops. Also he might get more punishment here in the U.S. So in that case it would be better.

  38. I don’t think that the U.S. should be getting involved with the problem in Syria. I don’t think that we should get involved because it is a problem that is only in their country not many. It looks like it is something that should just stick in their country, and not become a debate in ours. Whether whose side we go on, the Government’s, or the protesters.

  39. No i do not think we should get involved because it is not safe. I understand it is a sad situation but the country that is having that problem should figure it out not us. We already have enough problems to deal with.

  40. No, the United states has enough problems of its own. We shouldn’t get involved with other countries unless were helping the,.

  41. I do not think that the U.S government should get involved. We just left Iraq after an extremely long war. Whatā€™s going on in Syria is bad but I do not think that having the U.S intervene will do any good. We need to keep to our own business.

  42. I don’t think that the U.S needs to get into this war if we don’t have to. We just got out of another war we dont need to rush into another one.

  43. i dont think that the U.S. should go and interfere with another countries problems because it might make that country want to start a war with us.

  44. I think that it would be alright if we were total bros with the country in the case. For example I would personally help out Canada if they were imprisoning and killing their people. It all depends on the instance. I think that there should be a vote on it however, which of course there would be NO DOUBT.

  45. I do think that it is appropriate for the United States to become involved in a situation where the government of another country is accused of killing and imprisoning its own citizens because they need someone to come in and help out. The US cannot let another country let that happen to Syria. Someone needs to come in and stop all of the killing of the Syrian people. The US has strong enough forces to go in and stop all of the killings.

  46. If the country cannot support its own people and the people ask for help then other countries can help. If the people are satisfied with their government we have no right to change it even if we think it is wrong. We don’t want to start a new imperialistic country.

  47. I think that the Government should get involved only if the problem elevates to a more serious problem like huge massacres that would disrupt the world.Other than that,I don’t think we should get involved in another countries problems.

  48. I don think that the we should get involved in other countries problems. We have enough problems in our own country to be worrying about other countries. We shouldn’t have to be the peace keeper in the world.

  49. I think it is appropriate for the U.S. to become involved in a situation that a country is attacking themselves and imprisoning their own people because it is wrong to do that and they must pay the price with justice.

  50. No, I don’t think it is appropriate for the U.s to be getting bundled up in a mess like that, unless of course we were being accused also, or another country was asking for help. I think the U.s has many of it’s own problems to face, and we don’t need to be distracted if we don’t have anything to do with it.

  51. I do not think it is okay for the United States to get involved. We have enough of our own problems that we should not have to worry about what the other countries are doing. On the contrary, if we ever needed help with something we would want the other countries to help us and get involved. I think we need to greatly advise the different things we get involved with, because although we may gain allies, it could also get us into trouble with others.

  52. i dont think think the government should be involved with other countries. our country needs to just be involved in our own problems and not what other countries problems.

  53. I don’t like that we need to get involved but if the citizens in the other countries can’t protect themselves from their government its in our duty to protect the humanity. We have the ability to keep them safe and we need to choose one.

  54. No i don’t believe its ever appropriate for the United States to interfere with another country, unless we are requested to. Even if they kill off their entire population, we shouldn’t interfere with their government activities. But if they kill or take anyone or anything of US property, they we would be able to take action.

  55. I kind of agree. I don’t think we should be getting involved in other country’s problems so much but I in this case, I do think we should. It’s completely wrong for a country to do this to its people.

  56. I do think that the U.S. government should get involved because we know what is right and wrong. Their government should not be treating their citizens unfairly. We have the right to interfere for human rights.

  57. I don’t think we should get involved with a country that is insane it could start another war.

  58. No, I don’t think that the US government should get involved because I think we need to focus on our own problems, but if they get into a big war with another country, then we can get involved.

  59. I don’t think we should get involved because we already have enough problems of our own and we’re not even completely sure what’s happening in syria

  60. Many people would say that it is none of our business to get involved but I definitely think we should. I think we should do the best we can to help other countries be better. Some things need to come to an end. Especially situations like these. It’s wrong that they are imprisoning their own citizens but I am not sure what we could do that would help and be really effective.

  61. i don’t like the killing. but it happens so we should inervean. it will keep going on if we don’t do anything

  62. I think that the U.S. should be involved. I think this because the government is accused of killing hundreds of unarmed Syrians a day. Even though the citizens have weapons, they are basically defenseless when it comes to their government that has a stronger military force.

  63. The only reason i think that a country should get involved with another countries affairs is if it borders you and might pose a threat. Since we are all the way across the world, i think the U.S. is just getting involved in another problem when we already have enough problems of our own.

  64. I think that it’s not a good idea to get involved. They are a killing country, but it’s there country and they should deal with it, not us. We are the United States and they are a separate country. We are separate, and we shouldn’t get in the way of each other.

  65. no because i dont think that the us interfering will help them with the conflict.

  66. I do kinda believe it is okay for us the U.S.A to help other countries so we can get their trust and create a bond and say we helped out another country. but i don’t think it is our responsibility to help other countries because we have our own problems to deal with.

  67. I don’t think the U.S government should get involved because we have our own things to worry about and our government shouldn’t risk our people getting killed or imprisoned because we are trying to help out another country.

  68. The United states always gets involved in these types of situations. this is what is causing the US to lose money and become more in debt. i donā€™t think the US should be getting involved in this. its none of our business so we should just let their government handle it.

  69. People from middle east country’s always complain about how us Americans go around the globe trying to help people and they hate us for it i think we should stay out of this and let the country of Syria do this on there own and if they want are help they should ask for it!

  70. I don’t think that the U.S government should get involved in it. we left Iraq after a war. We need to keep in our own business.

  71. I don’t think that the u.s. should get involved for it is not with in our borders and not hurting us

  72. no not at all being knows as a country that kills it own people would be horrible. i hope that never in a milions years.

  73. No i don’t think that the United States should be involved. It would be bad if the U.S. was know for getting into another country’s business and then people would think that we were trying to help them. It would be better if we stayed out of it.

  74. I do not think that the U.S, should get involved because Syria can face their own problems. I think that if we get tied up in their problems, we might run into problems ourselves. Lets mind our own business.

  75. no because it is something that wont effect everyone els so we should let them do deal with there own government.if it starts getting worse and it affects other countrys then we should help.

  76. I think they should because everything that happens can help or hurt somebody else. I think if the US helps then we will have a stronger relationship with that country.

  77. I do not think the government should be involved in this. It’s dangerous and it’s Syria’s problem, not the United States. Our government has a lot of things to worry about, like the debt. If we were to get involved it would just cause more problems for the United States.

  78. No, I don’t think the government of another country should be able to be involved in other countries problems. Having the Untied States interfere with other countries could cause serious problems for us such as wars.

  79. Well, it’s not really our government or our country, but I think that we could definately make a big impact by trying to change their ways and make them understand more, and take a stand for human rights.

  80. I do think that it is somewhat important for the U.S. to be involved with the governmental decisions in other countries of imprisonment. But to an extent, because it is a different country and none of our business. It is also the right thing to do, it is inhumane to kill ones own citizens

  81. i don’t think it would be a very good idea to be involved in this situation it is there business not ours, yeah it would be nice to help they but we should fix our problems not theirs.

  82. I think that we should stay out of every ones business. It seems like we are always getting involved in other wars and i don’t think we should. The only way we should be in a war is if its in the U.S. I don’t think we should help any other country try to win a war. It’s pointless.

  83. Personally I believe the United States should not ever get involved with anotherā€™s countryā€™s problems of killing and imprisoning itā€™s own citizens. They would only get brought into this issue which would make it a bigger problem. If they stayed out of it the country could deal with it alone and not with a country taking a side. We would also be spending more money by helping out the other country which we do not have.

  84. I think that if the civilians ask for help and if we know the whole story it is acceptable to help. But if we do not know everything that is happening we should not jump into it. The U.S. does not need to create any more bad relations than we already have.

  85. i don’t think the U.S should get involved because its not really affecting us that much. Also that’s between Syria and its people, we shouldn’t get involved until it starts to effect us. We wouldn’t want to start another war, or get on the bad side of any other countries.

  86. i don’t think that our gov. needs to get involved. because there not part of the u.s. so why should we get blame for something that doesn’t involve us.

  87. I don’t think we should get involved because we just cam off a war and sent our troops home to see their families I don’t think it would be fair to the troops our to their families. They just came home and I think the United States needs a break from all of these wars lets just focus on our own problems instead of other countries.

  88. yes but no, because it is there own problem and they can deal with it in there own way. But if there is a problem and there having a problem all countries should be worried and try to help and solve the problem.

  89. I think that the U.S. government shouldn’t get involved.

  90. I think that it’s appropriate for the US to get involved because if we don’t help, it could turn into a worse situation. We can’t be focused on our own country when we get a earthquake, we send report and we help. That’s why we make alliances and treaties.

  91. I DO NOT THINK THE US GOVERMENT SHOULD BE INVOLVED

  92. I don’t think that we should go over into Syria and fix their problems. They are their own country and they should be able to handle their problems. If they stop fighting with their government im sure that it will stop with the killing and terrorizing of their own citizens. Honestly if i lived their i would have left the place before it got as bad as it is.

  93. No because a country accused of killing it’s own citizens isn’t good for reputation. also if Syria got itself into this situation it should be able to get itself out of the situation without help form other countries such as the U.S. finally it isn’t the U.S. job to correct all the issues in other countries when we have issues of our own.

  94. I do believe its a good idea to get involved in a situation in which the government of another country is accused of killing and imprisoning its own people because its not right to kill innocent people. People in other counties deserve rights too and maybe our country can help the citizens that lived.

  95. I think that it is appropriate for the U.S to become involved in the situation where the other country is killing their own citizens because the other country needs help to solve the problem they have because they can’t seem to find a better way to handle it. Also if you were the citizens of that country wouldn’t you want some other country to come in and try to help you?

  96. I think that the United States shouldn’t get involved with other countries problems. I can see why we may become involved, to help others who are getting killed and imprisoned by it’s own citizens. But I don’t think that the United States should start getting involved in other countries problems.

  97. I think it is important for our country to get involved if another country is killing and imprisoning there own people. The other country is violating peoples rights to live. If a large number of people are getting killed it is our responsibility to go help the victims. The U.S should not try to take over but to just help end the violence that is happening there. Other countries should help too not just the U.S.

  98. Yes, I do believe that the United States should be involved in this kind of situation because it is still placed in the United States. But if it’s not then don’t worry about it. But since this kind of situation is happening in the United States then yes, because people can actually make the world work better together and have peace in their own country. You the people just got to make it happen.

  99. I think the government should get involved because many people are dying. The Syrian government is killing citizens for no reason and its not right. We need to stop them from killing any more people. It would be really scary to live in that country and no one should feel that way.

  100. i dont think that we should get involved in anything that is in other countries because we are just now getting out of a 12 year war that put us in terrible dept
and we are just now recovering.

  101. I think that the United States shouldn’t help because if Syria has their own situations and problems then they should be able to take care of the situation themselves. And if we get in the situation then later on there would probably be a fight or something where someone did something wrong.

  102. I don’t think that the US should get involved with this subject of matter unless it is absolutely needed. If it gets to that point then yes, the United States should get involved. But if not, then so be it and let them take care of their own problems. The people in Syria should handle this problem with the killing of people their own way, if we agree or not.

  103. I do not think the U.S government should get involved with another country. If we got into it we could start an even bigger fit.we just need to stay out of it…

  104. No, I don’t think that the U.S government should get involved in other countries situations. The U.S could get in danger or anything with that if it gets bad or anything, you never know. Syria should just stop treating their people or badly maybe the U.S government could share that with them and that’s it.

  105. i think it is never appropriate for U.S. to get involved in other peoples business unless they are a part of it which they aren’t.

  106. Although it may be dangerous on the part of American troops and possibly expensive for our government, I believe that it would be the right thing to do to get involved and help out the innocent citizens of Syria. If we were in the same situation, we would want the same thing, that another country step in and help out.

  107. Its not right for another country to get involved with this kind of a thing if they weren’t even apart of it in the first place. They should just leave it alone and not have any more crisis than we already have with our country. If they didn’t cause it or had nothing to do with it at all why would they want to put themselves in the two countries position for no reason? It makes no sense to me why they would ever get in the other countries business.

  108. I think that America should get involved with Syria IF it gets too out of hand (Which it might have already have.) Even though we have helped a lot of countries, it is just too much to deal with. We have Soldiers in Iraq, Iran, Africa, and some other Middle Eastern countries. It’s just too much to have on our shoulders.

  109. I think that the United States should not get involved in other country’s problems. I can see why, because they want to help them, but I don’t think that the United states should get involved in different country’s problems.

  110. I think that we do not have a right to step in on other countries situations even if it was about an american citizen. Other countries do not force our government around and i think that we should give them the same respect that they give us. But i do think they we(U.S. government) should have the right to give them our own opinions on the matter.

  111. I think the united states should get involved because killing people is bad.

  112. I don’t think that we should get involved because it is not our problem. And because we just got out of the war in Iraq. If we help the Syria we would only loose more men and go further into debt.

  113. I think that we have the right to become involved but I don’t think that we should because that the countries’ own problems and we should not be getting our selves mixed in with all that. Also they are just accusations and we have no proof so we would be acting on what a bunch of random people are saying.

  114. I don’t think that the U.S government should get involved because its not our problem.

  115. Yes, I think that if someone was killed in a different country that they don’t live in, the country their from should get involved. I think that because it would be like doing something your not supposed to be doing at someone else’s house. Your parents have to get involved. They can’t just let you get away with it. Especially since the person killed someone, they shouldn’t just let him get away with murder.!

  116. no i think that the US should no get involved. i think we should just let them blow them self up.

  117. I think the U.S. gov’t should keep to its own. Getting involved with other countries problems will only make enemies. If we have any reason to go into a country it should only be to make allies. If we have no enemies and all allies, we’ll have nothing to worry about. We should keep to our own country’s business.

  118. I believe that the United States could help Syria through its difficult time but I think that the US should not get involved. It is better if you let them fight their own fight. We could help by giving food and water and necessities for this problem. I don’t think we should fight because once we shoot then who ever it hits will decide which side we support. We don’t want to support the wrong side then be criticized by other countries who just sit and watch.

  119. I believe that it is appropriate for the United States to become involved in a situation in which the government of another country is accused of killing and imprisoning its own citizens.
Because if not then it will continue to happen until the population in that area is smaller to where it is harder to get taxes or they will charge more. If so many people are imprisoned then it will be like they have control over everything even other countries.

  120. no, we are already in two countries because we got involved. I think that sometimes are country can be noisy and get in wars and take over countries, sometimes we need to leave them alone. It would not even make sense because are economy is in the dumps anyway.

  121. i do not think that the united states should be involved in another country and what happens inside of it. it will just start drama and it may cause to another war if they are dumb enough

  122. I think it’d be appropriate to go and help out the citizens in Syria, because the government is killing people that do not agree with the decision’s which is wrong. I think we should have people in their monitoring what is going on to stop the violence.

  123. Im kind of in the middle of this question. I see the benefit of having the U.S. intervene, it could stop many of the issues they are having, but then again we just left Iraq, that war was very long, and if people in Syria are imprisoning their own kind, who knows what they would do to Americans. I think its appropriate in some cases for the U.S. to help out, but I think in this case they should just see how things play out.

  124. I think that the U.S government should get involved because if we don’t help they might hold a grudge against us and we wouldn’t want that to happen.I think helping the citizens would just be the right thing to do in this situation because if it was happening to us we would want help.

  125. I think that if it doesn’t involve the U.S. then we shouldn’t get involved, but when you have children and families getting murdered for no apparent reason then we should step in. I think this because they are normal human beings just like we are. We are no different then them because we are all human and deserve a chance to live.

  126. I do think it is appropriate to step in because if someone doesn’t then how is the situation going to be solved. It doesn’t have to be just the United States that step in it could be any country. It should be the countries closest to Syria to help out in the first place but it could become a danger to them.

  127. I don’t think the united states should become involved in something from another country until they have more evidence of them really imprisoning and killing some of their people. But for now we have problems in our country we need to attend to first before going and helping another country.

  128. I don’t think that is appropriate for the U.s to become involved in another country’s business because that would just make that country not like the U.S any more. That could then lead to another war.

  129. I don’t think we should be helping, because the U.S is already have a problem trying to keep the money we have. And if we do help they Syria would be asking for more then we have ourselves. I know that helping would be a great way to show we care but we also need to think on what we are doing and what we are risking.

  130. I do not feel that the US should become involved with another country’s government if it accused of violating something so drastic as human rights. The United States of America is responsible for its own actions, yes, but not those of another country.

  131. I don’t think the United States should get involved. Unless there is a direct threat to us it is not our problem. We’re in too many nations already with out troops. We are NOT the police of the world. If we have to get involved in Syria, then what’s to stop us from going to Sudan, Uganda, anywhere experiencing bad times? As noble as it is to try to make the world a better place, it is not any one nation’s job.

  132. I think it’s right for some country to step in, but we don’t have to in particular. Other countries can help, not just the US if we do decide to step in. Some countries need help like that and need support and assistance from all around the world to solve issues. It’s right to help people who are being imprisoned and killed for doing nothing.

  133. I do not think Americans should be involved with Syria’s problems at all. When I say that I mean our government, and military. I do not think we are in the position to help anyone right now considering everything that our country is going through such as an election, oil prices, jobs, and our whole economy overall. Plus, I do not see how helping Syria would benefit us in a positive way.

  134. No, I don’t think that we should get involved. Our country has our own problems and we shouldn’t have to solve someone else’s. I think we should just mind our own business because not a lot of countries help our’s when we’re going through a tough situation.

  135. I do think the U.S should get involved because its not right to kill innocent people that just want to get a say in there country but to be killed for it I don’t agree with.

  136. I think that after everything we had just gone through with taking our troops home from Iraq is enough for a couple years. Yes they do need help, but unless we, the United States, are called upon for an opinion, or if we start having this happen towards us, then we should not get involved! I think for now we should worry about our economics for now.

  137. I do not think our government should get involved because it is their own country’s problem and they have their own laws. Nobody can do anything about what their government wants to do. It’s none of our business either.

  138. it is because its just as bad as what the natzis did so why dont these people get the same help?

  139. I do not think we should be involved in something we are not apart of. We should not help and let the country do it themselves.

  140. I think that we shouldn’t get involved. Unless the US is getting directly effected or they specifically ask us to help then I think we should just leave the situation alone. Us helping could possibly start a war with other countries.

  141. I don’t believe we should become involved in another country’s government situation, unless it has something to do with us. If it’s just about their country we need to stay out of it. Us getting can lead to bad things such as wars, attacks and other things that can lead to damage in our country.

  142. No I don’t believe we should be getting involved in the affairs of other countries at all. We are far too self-important and we don’t have any magical solution to the problems of the world. We should focus on our own problems and focus on NASA!

  143. This is a pretty bad situation for the U.S. to be in and I don’t think it’s appropriate. It’s called Syria’s government for a reason, SYRIA CAN HANDLE IT. The U.S. really has no need to be involved with another country’s gov’t.

  144. I think it is appropriate for the U.S to get involved with another country that was accused of killing its own people. The people of Syria probably cant stand up to their government, there for they need another country to help them and even it out. Even though the U.S isn’t completely stable, we have strict rules and the U.S. government could help Syria’s people.

  145. I believe the United States should not ever get involved with another’s country’s problems of killing and imprisoning it’s own citizens. They would only get brought into this issue which would make it a bigger problem. If they stayed out of it the country could deal with it alone and not with a country taking a side. We would also be spending more money by helping out the other country which we do not have.

  146. Said accusations aren’t proven and the United States should not act on impulse. Our involvement in another countries war is redundant.

  147. I think that the U.S. should not help. We financially are in a lot of struggle as i is, and if Syria is cracking down on their people, it might be to restore order and show the people who’s boss.

  148. I don’t think the United States should get involved because it could affect us. I believe it’s their problem and they can’t rely on other countries to solve their problems.

  149. I believe that the U.S.A. should not get involved in a another countries business like that. I think this because if we get involved with everything then sooner or later something is going to happen.

  150. yes, i think it is appropriate for the united states to step in and help these people because they are inoccent and we are just as bad as the people who do that stuff if we just sit on the sideline doing nothing to help them

  151. yes i do think the we should be evolved with this thing in Syria. one reason i think this is cause its not right that the government can shoot misses and artillery to civilians. and also if we had trouble like the i would want people to help me.

  152. No, But i do not think it is right for the government to get involved with it if the citizens are doing something that they should not be doing i think that is it fair for them to be getting in trouble and taking the punishment that they what is happening i Syria is also really bad but i honestly do not think that the government should be getting involve with it.

  153. Well, I believe that the circumstances of our country need to be taken into account. a) Do we have another war(s) going on that threaten us? b) Do we have a stable enough economy to fund a war? c) Does the public support this war? If the answer to any of these questions is no, then we should reconsider.

  154. the us government should get involved because if we don’t we are endangering others in their country and it could affect us in the end with war. i also think that if we had that kind of problem other countries would come and help.

  155. It is difficult to say because people in other Countries obviously do need help but I think that it should be more along the lines of UN to help situations like these. One countries limited budget won’t have room for it but a dozen could probably afford it. I also think that it is other Countries (including the US) place to help because at the of the day, were not American, Canadian, or Syrian….we are all just people and people need to help each other out.

  156. I think that the US should not get involved with other countries problems, it will just end up badly for us in the long run. If we get involved with other countries then that is a good way to make enemies that might lead to problems later in the end. Like maybe another war or something that will just hurt this country more than it already has. We don’t need to make any more enemies out there so I think we should worry about our problems in our country.

  157. DO YOU believe it is ever appropriate for the United States to become involved in a situation in which the government of another country is accused of killing and imprisoning its own citizens? No. If so, why? If not, why not? Because it has nothing to do with us. We’re already in debt, if we helped them what would they do to repay us? Nothing.

  158. i think no, because we need to get our country in order before we start getting involved in other countries problems. another reason it that it might start a war and we will have to fight that now, and we dont want that because we just got out of a war. we shouldnt because its there country and they can govern it the way they want to.

  159. i think at sometimes it can be appropriate to go get involve because if there killing there citizens we shouldn’t just ignore it we should go out and help the citizens so they can stop there government from doing this to them

  160. No, this would be wrong and first of all it’s not our problem to deal with! they need to learn how to get out of their own struggles. Lets say if we had the same problem, do you think they would help us? They probably wouldn’t. It’s not our government to deal with and never should be.

  161. no i do not think that it is right because why do we need to get in the middle of another country when we have our own problems

  162. I don’t really know if they should be aloud too. I think we should all have a vote on it. I could really care less, but it is our fault for putting our troops in the other countries. I think we should have some say, but then again i don’t really think so because we put our troops in there…so it’s really our own fault for having this happen.

  163. I do not think it is ever appropriate for the United States to ever become involved with another country’s situation because it is none of our business in which the other county’s government wants to control their country.

  164. DO YOU believe it is ever appropriate for the United States to become involved in a situation in which the government of another country is accused of killing and imprisoning its own citizens?
I don’t think that they should, it could put the U.S in danger, because by getting involved we could make the Syria Government mad and they may think that we are trying to overpower them and then they could attack our country. So I think it’s better off if we just mind our own business.

  165. i do not think that we should get involved by ourselves. i think that we should have a united nations meeting. then if the issue passed Syria would be more threatened and then maybe stop fighting.

  166. I think it is our duty to come and overthrow an unjust government in a country. What the government has been accused of doing is inhumane. It is our job as a world to to keep other countries and people safe from harm.

  167. I feel that the U.S. should not get involved with anther country’s issue because we need to stick to doing what we are doing. George Washington’s fair well speech he warned us to stay notarial that is what we need to do or else this will make more issues

  168. No, I don’t think the united states should get involved in others countries problems. That is just another war that we don’t need to start. The only reason we should get involved is if the problem is harmful to the U.S.

  169. I believe that the United States should stay out of issues happening in other countries because we just got of a war in Iraq. If the US intervenes in will not do any good, so its probably best to keep to our own problems.

  170. I don’t think that we should get involved in this situation. It’s not any of our business and we should just leave it alone. We should deal with our own problems first.

  171. The U.S. government can only get involved in so much, i think that if the problems in Syria cant resolve themselves, then small action by the U.S. armed forces may be appropriate. But i don’t think it is our first priority.

  172. I don’t think the United States should get involved because it doesn’t affect us. Why should we worry about there problems when we are a ton of our own? We don’t need to send more people in to get killed by there government. Its just not smart!!

  173. I think at this point, especially in Seria, the U.S government should get involved in helping them. The outbreaks of violence have been going on too long and any one that can assist in the situation would be helpful. The violence is affecting everywhere not just there. Think about it, if we were in trouble, wouldn’t we want someone to help us?!

  174. I Don;t think they ever would. But i believe they should. They should be helping the other people, even if they aren’t in our country. Because everyone has rights. They shouldn’t be imprisoned. And if we have helped other country’s, why cant we help them?

  175. I think the United States should only get involved if there is obvious evidence that people are being killed and it is a drastic situation. It’s only appropriate if many people’s lives are endangered and the country’s government isn’t taking responsibility for their people’s lives. If there is no proof that people are being killed and the situation is more under control, then the U.S. should stay out of it and make Syria take control and responsibility for their own people and actions.

  176. No because we do not need to get into another war and we do not need to get involved with others problems.

  177. I think the united states should get involved with it. With our help i think everything could maybe go better because the us is helping.

  178. No i do not believe that it is appropriate for the united states to become involved in this situation because it is none of our business. Since it is in a different country, we do not have to get involved. But i do believe that it is appropriate for the united states to get involved if there is an issue concerning the united states.

  179. I think they shouldn’t get involved I personally think they should leave it up to the UN so we don’t get into anymore wars at the moment because it might just put us into another Depression.

  180. i do not think that we should get involved. our country has enough to deal with, we dont need to go and fight other peoples battles. if we didnt have anything else to deal with, then yes, it would be a great idea. since we are one of the few powerhouse country’s we can be able to help out smaller, less powerful countrys.

  181. If the videos being uploaded to youtube are true and real then i think it is in our interest to go and help out the citizens of Syria. Its not right what they are doing. If the citizens of Syria are calling out for help on youtube and risking their lives to get a video up then it must be important and America must act fast.

  182. no because its not in the us and it would make a issue with that country. also that would give the us a bad reputation if we did that.

  183. I think that the American government shouldn’t get involved in the Middle East problems again. Atleast for right now since we’re bringing out troops from there and we really don’t need anymore problems over there. First Iraq thanks to the Bushs’ and then Afghanistan and Iran and I just think that we really don’t need anymore trouble over there at the moment considering how many men and women we lost over there. Maybe just send some aid from Red Cross or something to help out, no military whatsoever.

  184. I think that we shouldn’t do that. This is because we just got back form Iraq and now we could start to fight again and that costs a lot of money which we don’t have. I think we should just let them be.

  185. i do not think it is appropriate to control another country’s government. The reason i say this is because the more likely the chance to have another war and more likely to lose many allies.Another reason is aren’t we just as bad as the people who controlled the government before if we control the government of that country.

  186. I do not think that the U.S should get involved with this. It is horrible that one country is killing their own citizens. This is not right and will evolve a bad reputation for the U.S.

  187. I believe that the united states should stay out of it as long as they can because this is how we got into the situation that we are in, in the middle east. We need to focus on defending our own country first.

  188. The us should get involved because it is a humanitarian thing. We cant just let them kill innocent people. We were founded on these principles when the sot around the world was heard. also this would be like a smaller Nazi Germany and we cant let that happen

  189. I don’t think it is appropriate. If a country is killing it’s citizens, then it must have a viable reason. Governments don’t just kill people for no reason what so ever. That would make them murderers.

  190. I think that America should only get involved if one of our people is hurt or if it directly effects our country.. Other than that we really have no business getting involved.

  191. I dont think the U.S should get involved because its not our problem and its not are issue to worry about. Why spend money on another countries problem when it could be spent on something that we need.

  192. I don’t think that we should get involved in another war. The situation in Syria is a shady one but i guess we could give aid or supplies to help the cause of the better group. Peace… No war.

  193. As much as it will be good to help Syria, the revolts should’t be helped or put down by OUR military, what with after coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan. We should try to help people there with food, and maybe emergency shelters, but going in with our military will just make us seem like a tool of a country, if you get my catch. We should just keep our nose clean through this one,

  194. The US shouldn’t get involved in the problems of another region or we might get sucked in to it. The only thing we should do is donate to the Red Cross and let them help the Syrian people. It’s up to the Arab Nations to have Syria stop attacking its own people, the only control the US would have over there is military and we’re stretching the military a bit to thin at the moment.

  195. I think the U.S. government should be involved so that they will stop and can become a peaceful country again.

  196. I do not think the United States should be involved in conflicts with other countries, unless it threatens the security of our country or our countries allies. When we are 15.5 trillion dollars in debt, it is foolish to spend money to fund problems in other countries. Our military has already been downsized, and to redirect limited resources to fund opposition forces seems like a bad idea. We need to spend less money to get us out of the poor state of the economy, and not spend money right and left.

  197. yes i think the united states and other countries should try and stop the serine government. they shouldn’t have the right to take away someone else’s rights we have as humans.

  198. This is some crazy shenanigans that is goin’ on over there. I don’t think that are men should hop on over there and mess with things because we do not need to be screwin’ around with wars again. Shouldn’t happen.

  199. I do not think the US should get involved because it is a different governmental and we dont need to get involved in a war.

  200. i think it is. If the citizens of a country can not fend for themselves in this kinda situation. It is our job as Americans to get involved. Why just stand and watch people get murdered for no reason when we can become involved and potentially solve this problem?

  201. I don’t think that the us government should get involved because i don’t think that our government is going to do anything to help them out so it would be a big waste of time and money.

  202. The crisis in Syria has led to the government allowing only very limited access into the country for international reporters. Many people say that if it weren’t for social media, the world wouldn’t know how bad the fighting truly is. But every time a rebel or a loyalist from Syria puts anything on Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube, they risk their lives. I don’t think that it is necessarily the Unites States’ business if a country is imprisoning or killing its citizens, but if the country is doubtlessly experiencing problems, as Syria is, I think an international force made up of several allied countries should deal with the country as needed.

  203. I think that the only way that America should get involved with a government of another country is if the situation does or could escalate into affecting and impacting American citizens. If the conflict is not impacting our society, it is a waste of resources and we could lose allies if we are seen as getting into everyone’s business. This is a very complicated subject, but it is a safer way to go not becoming involved. The risks are just too high and include losing men, resources, money, allies and many other things. Is it worth losing all these things for a conflict that doesn’t concern us? No.

  204. No, I do not think its appropriate for the united States to become involved because if another country accused the united states, they would come to the u.s. and they may do harm and will not leave until they get what they want.

  205. I think it is appropriate for the United States to become involved in a situation in which the government of another country is accused of killing and imprisoning its own citizens if the country is willing to accept help and wants to change. I think the U.S. should just give them a boost to get them back on track but then they will need to be responsible for keeping the peace themselves.

  206. I do think that the US should get involved if another country’s citizens need help. We live in a place where we have freedom and can have our own rights and if someone needs our help we should help them. The citizens of Syria don’t have a voice and they don’t have the power to stand up to their government alone. We could help the citizens and we could support them when they need it.

  207. I don’t think it would be a good idea right now. We need to worry about getting are economy on track before we just spend billions on trying to help them. I think the international community needs to put more pressure on Syria to stop the violence.

  208. I think that they should not be involved with Syria because its not our problem its there own problem. If we do get involved some of our people could get hurt or get killed.

  209. I dont think the u.s. should get involved into the situation. we just left iraq.We have to take care of more important things like gas prices and people getting jobs.

  210. Its not our problem but it would be nice of us to help out the other countries. We just got out of a war and we don’t need to go back into one.

  211. I believe we should get involved. all these people innocently dying is not right. If the government is corrupt, then they should be fixed

  212. I don’t think we should because if we try to interfere we may end up going to war with them because they may become enraged and start attacking and we wouldn’t be ready.

  213. I think a country should be able to get involved if the government is hurting and killing its citizens. Every person has natural rights, and if the government takes them away, then there’s a problem. Syria is in bad shape and someone needs to stop the killing’s of people.

  214. I believe it is appropriate for the United States to become involved in a situation in which the government of another country is accused of killing and imprisoning its own citizens because it is a crime against humanity and should be brought to justice.

  215. Governments should be able to get involved with other countries problems if and only the country is right next to the country in turmoil. We shouldn’t be spending money just to help some unknown cause when we have enough problems on our own hands.

  216. I think that the only way America should be involved is if it is a threat on it and its people. Otherwise it’s a waste of resources. Though it may be the nice things to do i’m pretty sure that part of the world doesn’t want us there anyway and it would probably just make them madder at us.

  217. i think it is appropriate but i don’t think we can do it right now beacsue we are having so many struggles of our own and we don’t have the time and money we have to care for ourselves first.

  218. I don’t think the U.S should get involved in this because it’s not our people so it’s not our problem. We shouldn’t have to waste money on something that’s not ours.

  219. No because we need to make our country perfect before we make another country perfect. Also it is their country and I guarantee that they would not come help us if we were under attack by our own government, the only country that might help us would be Canada.

  220. I don’t think that our Government should become involved. What is going on in Syria is bad, but the U.S government getting involved will not help and could make things worse. I think that the Government should mind their own business.

  221. I do not think we should interfere with any other countries that have things like that going on. I think it’d only put America in a bad situation, and we don’t want to get on anyone’s bad side. We should start working on our own issues before we even think about working on somebody else’s problems/

  222. I do not think that the U.S. should get that involved in Syria’s crisis. If anything, the government should try to convince the Syrian government to stop treating its citizens so badly. But if the U.S. tried to go to Syrian and control the conflict, it might anger some people in Syria. The U.S. doesn’t need any new enemies right now.

  223. i do not think the U.S. government should get involved because it is the countries right to do what they want with their people, but if the killing ends up getting out of hand i think it might be time for the U.S. to get involved.

  224. i dont think its a good idea because we might get into another war we dont need to get into because we just spent the last decade in iraq and we just got out i think we have to be worried about our own problems before we worry about someone elses

  225. if by involved you mean help stop them then yes it seems like that would be a good thing to do, but we shouldn’t start a war with the Syrians which would be likely to happen if we tried to oppose them.

    • we shouldnt because it will cause more debt in the U.S. and we arent even involved ith syria they can settle it themseves. The U.S. should not deal with other countries problems.

  226. I think that the U.S. should try to help and maybe try to get some supplies into the country. But I think that we shouldn’t do to much because we don’t want to get into another war.

  227. No, I don’t think that the US should ever get involved in another country’s problem. We are a strong country, but that still puts us at risk of death for ourselves and probably won’t advance our country at all.

  228. I think sometimes it’s necessary to help other countries but other times it’s not necessary. I don’t think we should help in Syria just yet, but if the situation escalates I think we should provide some aid to the problem. If the situations stays constant or gets better, then we should not interfere.

  229. I think that the U.S. and other countries should get involved because the government shouldn’t be inhuman to its citizens, its just not right. We would want the help from other countries if our country’s government went corrupt.

  230. No because i don’t think we should be apart of a country that is known as a killing country.

  231. I think that it is appropriate to get involved, but we should not right now. We are too involved with other stuff to worry about that. You never see Britain or France or any other nations getting involved in stuff like that.

  232. I don’t think that our government should be too involved with other countries. Maybe they could give supplies to help out but not do anything to start a war or make them angry with the United States.

  233. no i don’t think we should because what did they do for us nothing.i don’t think its right to kill citizens or random people or put them in prisons. if i was one of those people i would live the country and go to america.

  234. I dont believe it is right for America to be involved in Syria’s crisis. I think it is best to just watch things play and if things get further into other countries or there are threats against America, then we shall take action but until then there is no reason to get involved

  235. I do not think that our government should get involved with other Countries disputes with its self. If citizens of that country believe that they should kill and imprison citizens then they should take matters into their own hands. If we get involved that could end up bad because the king could try to harm the United States for getting involved.

  236. Your Question: DO YOU believe it is ever appropriate for the United States to become involved in a situation in which the government of another country is accused of killing and imprisoning its own citizens?

    If so, why?

    If not, why not?
I do believe that the US should get involved in this because it IS the US citizen who is being imprisoned.

  237. i think that it’s not right for the United states to always come and help them. if more of our troops go out there are chances of losing more. they need to find a way to solve the problem that they are having and not let anyone get involved.

  238. i think that the US government should not get involved because we don’t need more people from our troops to risk their lives, especially if it really is not effecting our country.

  239. I believe it is always necessary for the United States to get involved if the government of another country is killing their own people. If they are are killing people who are attacking them for no reason, that is one thing, but if they are killing innocent people for no reason, we need to step up. They cant just lock people up or blow them up. We need to help, if not, things may get even more out of control then they already are.

  240. I do not think that the Untied States should get involved in the problems over seas. We have our own problems here, our country should be focused on making our government better, rather then trying to help another nation. What the Syrian government is doing is wrong, but we are not the people that should go in and stop it.

  241. yes it is possible for the United States to become involved in a situation in which the government and it did stop us befor

  242. the US always gets involved in these types of situations. this is what is causing the US to lose money and become more in debt. i don’t think the US should be getting involved in this. its none of our business so we should just let their government handle it.

  243. No because its not our people or our problem.

  244. I dont think the us should get in to another war not know we are n dept

  245. I think we should step in and do something because if someone does not do something then who will?
and plus it will propbally just get more worst than it already is.

  246. No I don’t think we should get involved. If the Syrian government wants to mess up their own country, then let them do it. If we get involved they will just start messing up our country.

  247. Yes we should help. This is because no one should suffer like the people in Syria are. They need help to revolutionize their country so we should help.

  248. I don’t think that this should happen because we should just worry about the u.s and not all the other country it is their responsibility to do what they have to do about what is going on.

  249. Yes we should get involved because it is inhumane when their government is just wiping out innocent people.

  250. I don’t think it is right. I think that the president of the United States needs to be focused on their job, not others. Also that it is not their responsibility to be concerned what they do. So i do not think it is ever right for any other president besides the one in the states business to make a decision.

  251. No it is not our problem. We are just going to get into another war and hurt our people in the process’s and it will make no sense. If it isn’t in our county we shouldn’t be worried about.

  252. I don’t think that we should get involved with that problem. I say that because it’s not are to get into. They need to ask other people around them to help them. Everybody comes right away and ask us for help.

  253. No, I do not believe that we should be meddling in the affairs of others. We should let them make their own decisions, and only get involved if it starts involving us. We should only worry about what our country is doing for now, and not worry about what Syria is doing.

  254. I don’t think that we should get involved in it because it could cause things to happen here. a lot of people think were ignoring the problem but were not. it just doesn’t seem likes it any of are business so we should just stay out of it.

  255. I don’t think our government should get involved in other countries problems, especially a situation like this.

  256. I don’t think that the U.S should. They should stay out of Syria. We just got out of a war, we don’t need to go back in another fight. Sending over troops cost way to much money that we don’t really have.

  257. i think that the U.S should stay out of the other countries problems because if they get involved with other countries problems, there is more of a risk that there might be a war.

  258. Yes i think they have a say as to what the person should be charged with. the thing is that the government lets the united states be apart of there concern and that isn’t right but i think it is okay that we all know about whats going on.

  259. I think the United States should just stay out of Syria because more people could be killed in Syria and our president won’t want anymore people going over there because of the costs of supplies and other things too.

  260. I think sometimes it’s appropriate to get involved in that type of situation however I don’t think now would be the time to try it. Our economy is too weak and all the soldiers are just getting home from over seas, so I don’t think we should send them out again.

  261. yes because people are being taken from their family’s by death or by imprisonment. we should step in so family’s can know if their children patients grandparents. if we step in we could save some lives.

  262. i think that the US should stay out of all the problems in the world right now and try to get the debt down from 14 trillion dollars. And if they are killing and imprisoning their own people they will most likely do that to our people.

  263. I think that the U.S, could get involved in the situation. I think this because we could help them out. The danger could be though is that many U.S. citizens get killed.

  264. Yeah the government of a different country should be able to get involved in another countries problems, but i wouldn’t think it’s okay to do it because they feel like they have too, they should do it as a favor, to get into the stuff where they’re accused of imprisoning their own citizens.

  265. I do not think that the U.S government should get involved. We just left Iraq after an extremely long war. What’s going on in Syria is bad but I do not think that having the U.S intervene will do any good. We need to keep to our own business.

  266. Obviously Not. Being known as a killing country would be a horrible reputation. Hopefully that will never happen.
