The most annoying thing that has ever happen to me online is when people try talk trash to you and you win, and they posted on their pages that you’re a looser. I never loose when it comes to making fun of one another.
they thing that i hate is wan people cyber bullying cause they will fine something to make fun of you for or if you do something a long time ago they can make fun of your pitcher or something you said a long time ago and i think that it should just stop that is the only thing that makes me mad
the most annoying thing is when people troll. Honestly they make me really mad. All they do is be annoying and mean.
I think the most annoying things people do online is with the stuff they type. YOU DONT NEED TO TALK LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME AND WITHOUT ANY PUNCTUATION IT IS REALLY ANNOYING. See? It is even worse to me when the Capitalize Each Letter Of Each Word In A Sentence, or even when they AlTeRnAtE lEtErS bEtWeEn CaPiTaL aNd NoT. It actually makes my head hurt. But the things that are important that bother me are cyber bullying and stuff like that. Ok, done ranting.
I think it’s annoying when people think that Facebook is their own personal therapist. Facebook is annoying in general, from the girls who post “:'(” statuses and then tell people they don’t want to talk about it, to the people who post the same picture 500 times a day. I hate it when people ‘tlk lik dis’ and don’t know how to use proper grammar [they’re, there, their, etc] People who start fights without ANY type of evidence to back them up just because they feel tougher on the internet. People who swear every two words. People who post complaints about themselves just for attention, or trolls in general.
I think the most annoying thing online is when people facebook is hacked and it post on everyones wall. It comments on everyones status. Or when people like their own status.
I think that there are a lot of annoying online behavior. One is when people use the internet to harass others. Also when people talk lik dis. Also when people take a picture of themselves with stupid posses, and posts them every 5 seconds. Another thing that gets on my nerves is when you get tagged in photos you don’t want to be tagged in, or if someone doesn’t know you very well and still tags you. Also when, on social websites, people like something were you have to tell that person the truth and then they yell at you for telling the truth. Also, when someone keeps trying to talk to you and you tell them to leave you alone and they still try to talk to you.

I think that when people post to much. I think there should be a limit on your posting. It can fill up people news feed’s and it can get annoying real fast.
I think that the most annoying online behavior is when people complain and bully people and when people are hatin on each other. Its annoying because it is unnecessary for you to do that to someone, does it make people feel better when they hurt someones feelings? You can’t really stop them for doing stuff online.
In my opinion the most annoying online behavior is when girls post the most annoying status’s or put on their pictures that there ugly or its temp or to like it if they should keep it.. its just like um no you’re annoying little girl seeking attention. Especially on face book. and cyber bulling is another thing to I feel like I should stand up for them but I dont want to start drama which always happens.. If youre going to have drama keep it on chat not where everyone can read it.

I think it’s annoying when people always post negative things,I don’t think anyone wants to see those stupid posts because they are pointless.It’s also very annoying when people post their whole life story and all the posts are just dumb and you waste time reading them.I also hate online ads that constantly pop up.

I think the most annoying thing people can do online is when they constantly complain about everything. I think this because some people complain online about complaining which is really redundant. I also think that it is annoying because they complain about everything but they don’t need to read it, so they can’t complain. A lot of kids have been bullied of the internet and some of them aren’t around now. it hurts people, so don’t do it.
I seriously hate the way people treat each other online. They think that because they aren’t talking to them in person that they have an excuse to cyberbully other people. I think the most annoying thing on social media is people using completely obscure and unnecessary language for no good reason at all. I think this is annoying because i really do not what to see that kind of stuff and most of the time when you use this language enough people will not take you serious. A way to fix this is to think before you write if you would talk to your mom like that. Now if you do then go ahead. If that dosen’t work than think about how you would like to be talked to you.
Some things that annoy me are rumors, or people who sit there and complain about their life. this is a big reason i don’t go on Facebook. Also girls taking a million pictures of them in a mirror. that makes me not go on Facebook. I haven’t been on all year because of there people.

In my opinion the most annoying online behavior is when people cannot spell words correctly or when they t@lk lyke th!s. I think that because it is not that hard to check your spelling before you post it online. All computers have spell check and it is really easy to see the red line under misspelled words before you post something. It is way easier to spell things out than t@lk!ng lyk dis. It is crazy and you can’t even read it most of the time.

I think the most annoying thing on the Internet is when someone posts about their personal problems because, how do they expect anyone else to help with their problems? I mean, sure, people could help, but they would never be able to get rid of the problem permanently, only the person that has the problem can. People REALLY should consider thinking of talking about their personal problems to people in person, not on the Internet because people would be able to help much more if they do it in person.
Yeah, the internet is not a place for people to vent about their personal problems. There are counselors and other such people for that.

I think the most annoying online behavior is people that bully others for no reason. I think that it is very immature, and hurtful on the person being bullied. The person who is bullying the other doesn’t realize what damage it does to the person they are bullying. And the person isn’t always there to defend themselves. I think we could just keep monitoring everything that the kids do and not just let it slide if there is someone who is bullying others.

I think that not putting periods and punctuation in your blog is very annoying. It’s annoying because I don’t know if their sentence is done or not and I have to tell them that. I think to help this they should just use common sense and look over their blog after their done.

In my opinion, i think that cyber bullying is the most annoying online behavior. Because cyber bullying can hurt not just one, but many people in many ways (based on what you say). When you cyber bully, it makes a person feel bad, and if they feel bad they can do drastic things to themselves and/ or others. But if its not stopped then they might even considering to commit suicide. If you wouldn’t say it to the persons face, then why put it out on social media?

The most annoying online behavior is when someone gets a stupid kill on me while I’m playing xbox. I will keep getting hit marker after hit marker but it doesn’t seem to even affect them. It is also annoying when i I’m sniping and i get a 360 quick scope or a drag scope and i just end up with a hit marker. Also when i try and barrel stuff a person and they panic knife me before i can get a shot off.

The most annoying thing that bugs me is Facebook and Xbox live. People talk about other peps and say things about them that they most likely won’t have guts to say to there face. Xbox is a big bother because they yell scream and say words they shouldn’t say at all. They RAGE all the time.
I think it is really annoying when people do immature things online. These include making a fake profile on some social site and then stalking people. Also when people use bad grammar when you are chatting with them. I think it would also be nice if they didn’t put up personal information, that way you know you will be safe from online predators.

I could name off so many annoying online behaviors. One, I hate it when people don’t capitalize their sentences. I mean, it’s really not difficult at all. Two, when people “spel lyke dis”. I really would think at this age they should know how to spell. Three, when people right down something that doesn’t make sense. You should read it over to make sure that it does make sense. We’re in high school, and this really shouldn’t be a problem at all. I don’t think anybody could really stop them from doing it, but they should stop anyways.

when a person hids there identity like a 42 year old says hes 16 to get near a 16 yearold girl.if they new how those who where victomes felt then our fellow highlanders might not lie on the computer.but im not shure what can be done to get our fellow highlanders not to lie on the internet.

I believe that bullying is the most annoying online behavior because it’s everywhere and we really can’t do anything to stop it. We can educate people to just let them know that bullying is just plain rude and annoying. People don’t need to be treated that way and we should have more respect to people online.

I feel the most annoying online behavior is incorrect spelling. It bugs me for the fact that most computers have a spell check function. Most people are too lazy and don’t use the simple task of right clicking on a red underlined word.
I don’t think that is even half as bad as kids complaining on Facebook about personal life.

In my opinion, the most annoying social network is Facebook. I hate when people post their whole life on Facebook. It’s not a diary! I think that there are many annoying online behaviors. For example when people have extremely bad grammar and spelling. Otherwise, I honestly don’t care. People can do whatever they want at their own risk. So I guess there really are no annoying online things people do. If I don’t like something I will just ignore it or get offline. That simple.

I think that the most annoying thing is not having caps and not having correct spelling because then you can confuse people and I don’t like it. I think that the highlanders should learn how to use spell check and maybe we can teach other Highlanders how to use positive criticism instead of the mean hurtful comments some people, not all, use to get there points across.

The thing that most bothers me on the internet would probably be cyber bullying. The people doing it don’t know how much it hurts the other person. They go so far and one day the kids will try to harm themselves. Or when somebody post a uncalled for comment on someone’s picture/status whatever when it have nothing to do with them.

The most online behavior that annoys me the most is when people say things out of order or spell things wrong. Yes, I do it some times too but some people just do it on purpose and it really annoys me. Another reason why it annoys me is because it doesn’t make sense sometimes and yes everybody makes mistakes but come on you can spell the word right next time.

No one really cares if you are going to bed or not. To educate people you can make every post have a reason and not post stupid pointless things.

I think that the most annoying online behavior is when people are constantly updating their statuses and share too much information that’s usually pointless. Many people use facebook and twitter as a journal and are always posting about how they are feeling but they would never actually say that to someone in person. If you are going to share something with everyone online, I think you should also be able to talk about it with everyone you’ve shared it with in person.

In my opinion the most annoying online behavior would have to be not capitalizing the first letter in a sentence. I don’t like this because I mean we are in ninth grade and we should be able to capitalize the first word in a sentence. Students should learn to capitalize the first letter in a word when they are like in fifth grade.
I think spam inviting to apps, games, and just you don’t wanna talk to someone they keep chatting messaging and all other sorts of ways of messaging. I think it’s really annoying when people appreciate everything since word they say because it makes it look stupid and like they don’t know how to spell or something, like really. The most annoying thing that people do online is “truth is”. It fills up the entire news feed with things that we don’t care about at all because they are aimed at other people. I also hate when people post song lyrics…I mean what are you trying to say or tell people when you do that? On a more serious note, I think that people need to be more careful with the type of pictures they post. When your profile is all that a lot of people see of you, they make judgements about you because that is just what is natural. But my biggest pet peeve is when people just bag on Howell schools. If you do something stupid, yeah you’re going to get in trouble. It is just how the world works. And it wont be any better if you complain about it.

Common courtesy and respect are of rarity among people who communicate via internet. Human expression and the internet both cannot be controlled in their entirety so absolutely nothing should be done. However, though we do have our freedom of speech, there are limitations, such as death threats. Actions and behavior such as that will be punished in general because there are already laws established that are meant to prevent them. We have freedom of expression and beliefs, are are required to comply with the law; there should be no problem with this.
I think the most annoying thing people can do is talk behind the persons back online, because they can’t just go say it to their face. Also, when people don’t know how to spell. Honestly, you’re in highschool now. I would expect them to type correctly.

Most people these days take the internet way too seriously. Almost everything is either untrue or rumors. It’s hard to believe that there really are people out there who literally just sit at their computer and type random facts about people. Facebook is one of the biggest contributors to the internet fanatics. Almost everyone on Facebook, especially the girls, will post updates about their personal life, people they hate, or their depression towards something/someone. To me, these things can get really annoying after a while.
I think posting your problems constantly on Facebook is one of the most annoying things someone can do. All of your Facebook friends really don’t care about your small problems, especially when there are people going through much worth! I also think when people purposely start drama just for attention is super annoying. People rely way to much on social media these days that they don’t have enough courage or guts to say it in person. There’s so many things that people say through social media that they would never say in person. I think people should think about what they say more because some people say whatever is on their mind. If you wouldn’t say it in person, you shouldn’t say it at all. There is so much drama that is not needed and people just need to grow up. So I personally think when people constantly complain on Facebook and starting unnecessary drama are two of the most annoying things people can do on social media.

I hate when people on you tube put stuff that has nothing to do with what you want in with what you do want.
I think that the most annoying part of online social interaction is the blatant misuse of the English language. It doesn’t bother me as much when the person misusing it learned English as a second language, but when it’s a native it just bothers me a lot. I believe that online discussion is NOT the same as texting.
The most annoying thing people can do online is bully other people through social media sources. Because, people have no right to bully others and make them feel bad about themselves, because they have no idea what those people are already going through. And they don’t need you to make their life more miserable. Such as going on twitter or facebook and trying to start a fight with another person that they don’t need to start. Like commenting on someones picture and calling them “ugly” or “that they have no friends” where does the person feel they have the right to come in and judge that. At a lot of Catholic based schools watch what their students do on those websites. Which i feel is stepping in a little to far. But Howell schools, or any schools for that matter could try more than they are to raise awarness on the effects of cyber-bullying.
I think the most annoying thing people do online is put their status as something totally out there or about how they are “so sad”. I think putting this as a status does nothing or makes anything better. It might be letting people know but I think you should already have someone you can talk to other than just posting it as your status. I also think it’s so annoying when people post their whole life story. I think that everyone can use the internet how they want but some people just totally waste their time! We can help fix this problem by telling someone to find a person to talk to so they do not have to tell the whole world about a silly little thing.

Like, I have one or two pictures shirtless on Facebook because I was at football in one and I was with family in the other, but I wasn’t like trying to show off, I didn’t even put any of them up. And plus you never know what creepy person is stalking your profile.

I think that it is sort of annoying when people Blog out all of there feelings via the internet. particually on Facebook. its really annoying. people whine about the stupidest things too. It’s not twitter people. just try to CALM DOWN. 🙂

The thing that bothers me the most is bullying online. I don’t understand why people even do it in the first place. The person that is bullying the other is probably to scared to do it in person and that’s why they do it online. It is very uncalled for and annoying.
I get very irritated when illiterate people go on the internet to preach and patronize on a subject that they know little about. Oftentimes they get angry and start an enormous argument when someone tries to correct them. I just think that if you want to say something, at least check to see that your statement is somewhat based in facts before you try to tell others how to act or what to do.

One think that is really annoying is when you check Facebook and your friend updates her status about 20 times in one hour. or when people keep sending you farm vill requests. or when people stalk you online that is a little creepy.

The mos annoying type of behavior I see online is when people complain on Facebook and Twitter about their problems. We don’t care! We don’t need to here about what you think of others either. People always try to start stuff with people online, it may be entertaining but it is so annoying. Another type of annoyance is when people post a status every 5 minutes. I think highlanders just need to get outside once and a while and not be glued to the social networks.

I think the most annoying online behavior would have to be when someone starts drama or something that could end badly. I think this is annoying because, for one, i hate drama, and I would think everyone else does too, so if someone starts it, it just makes life and other things harder. I really don’t think this can be changed though.

I think that a lot of people aren’t very smart online. This is annoying because they will post things on social media that really, no one needs/cares about. Also what bugs me is when people post things about other people in a mean way. It’s immature and shows that they aren’t decent enough to remember that those things can hurt other people. This also goes along with cyber bullying. Also, when people cap the first letter of each word in a sentence. I mean..really!

I think the most annoying online behavior is when you’re on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, or any other type of social media website or blog, and someone starts this big huge blowout argument with someone else through posts or comments on the starting post. It’s just play immature and annoying to everyone else on the website, who don’t want to hear about what someone and their best friend are arguing about, because it’s no one elses business. If you don’t have the courage to confront the person about the matter face to face, then why are you doing it online? I think us Highlanders can do something about this by taking our problems offline and talking to the person you have a problem with in person, so others don’t try to get involved in the problem.
I find many things people do or say on the internet very annoying. For one when they capitalize every single word they type! For instance, You’re Only Supposed To Capitalize The First Word, Or A Proper Noun. I also think it is annoying when people bully others. If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it and comment on something else, there’s plenty of things you may comment on. Another thing I find annoying is when people use texting “language.” For example, when people spell that as tht, or you as u, or when they use the number two to say to. These are annoying to me because, yes I am guilty of not using proper English at some point, but when it is continuous it irritates me. I think you could stop people from doing this by making them retype their blog until they use proper English.

I think one of the most annoying thing people do online is act like a completely different person online and treat people completely different. I think it is very annoying when people put there life problems online but mainly on social media websites like TWITTER and FACEBOOK. Another very annoying thing is when people swear or bully on the internet. There is nothing to get out of bullying someone so why do it. My least favorite is when somebody post something nobody cares about like “Going to bed” or “Doing my Homework”.

And you basically go to one website look at some news. then you go looking on another website for different news and you get he same thing. On Facebook, say its Easter. you log on and all you see in your news feed is Happy Easter. I know its Easter, i don’t live under a rock.

What I think is a very annoying online behavior is when were blogging people don’t answer the right question. There is so many people that just don’t know what their talking about or read the first couple words of the question and it just annoys me. I just hope I answered the right question otherwise I am going to look pretty dumb.
I hate when people just figure out about something that has been going on for years, and THEN they start caring. For example, KONY 2012. This just makes me mad because if they cared, then they would have known about it when it started, and they would have cared about it then. We should teach our students about things like this when it happens, so we can do stuff about it.

There are a lot of annoying things that people do online. I think that online bullying is annoying. People often now bully on the computer, because they don’t have the decency to confront them. Modern society is all behind the computer and it’s just making a bunch of cowards out of people. When a bully bullies someone online it just makes that bully look bad, it shows your true character. That’s what I find annoying. Especially since most people getting bullied may have something wrong at home or were born with something different than other people. I think that this behavior online is terrible and extremely annoying. I also think Facebook will get annoying. Everyone uses it as a venting site as if all their Facebook friends are counselors or therapists. I honestly don’t want to here about other people’s problems. Everyone has problems of their own, they don’t need to be sharing their’s online, especially since much people have it worse. Facebook also gets annoying when all people do is fight and start drama. For example, people will direct statuses targeting one person, which just starts fights, rumors, and drama. High school has enough drama, we don’t need Facebook to add to it. So the answer to the question, I think Cyber-Bullying and people’s behavior on Facebook are annoying behaviors on the internet.

I think the most annoying behavior on the Internet is people starting pointless conversations. When people make comments on every meaningless thing they do it is just annoying. Nobody wants to listen to every single thing they do, and it just wastes time they could use for more important things. People are too casual on the Internet. It was meant to be a resource for finding information, not wasting time commenting on every aspect of your life.
People should be able to waste there time online, you don’t have to read what they write.

I find people posting their life story and problems on facebook, along with sharing crap about kids starving in Africa, believing in god, and Kony 2012, is very annoying. Yeah, Kony and starving children is saddening, but asking people to like your post because you are “sympathetic” isn’t going to do a single thing about it. People are also irresponsible on controlling themselves over social networking sights, and have zero respect for the people who just want to know what normal people are doing. Normal. Right.

I think that the most annoying thing is when people don’t use punctuation right. They are constantly putting “u” as “you”. Also a lot of people don’t CAPITALIZE they’re sentences.

The most annoying behavior is when people are online all the time but all they do is post stupid, ignorant videos. That is really bad but another thing is when people say things to hurt people. The last thing is when they talk about their lives and every second of it, such as, “i’m in line to get coffee. or a guy got out of line and i moved up a step. or i just got the wrong order so i am complaning to the manager.” those things drive me nuts.
One of the most annoying online behavior is when people will say something or comment on something and have no idea what they are talking about. I hate it when people act like they know all about a subject, but in reality, they know nothing and everything that they had said was false. I do not like when people do this because it is putting false ideas into other peoples’ heads, so they may form bias or unfair opinions toward a subject. Another pet peeve of mine is when people use poor grammar. For example , “yo dude thats awsome. can u teach me how. so wats up.” These type of comments show how little a vocabulary you have. I think that we can fix these things by blogging about it (like this).
I do think it is annoying when people say things about something they have no idea what it is about. It can start a frenzy of anger and frustration over something when people don’t even know the full story, or what it was about. It can cause anger against groups when they have no idea why.

I think criticism & cyber bullying are the most annoying online behaviors- Online someone will be a try-hard and criticize every thing possible, thinking they’re better.Both of these issues are present on social networks through wall posts and P.M.’s, and also in gaming online.

Even if they aren’t asking for attention, they’re still putting personal things out on the internet, where anyone can have access to them and read them. I wouldn’t want anyone I don’t know to know things like that about me, so why would they? I think to stop this sort of thing it would probably be a good idea to get a personal journal or something…..so no one has to read it through their newsfeed on facebook.

I think the most annoying online behavior is “trolling”. Trolling is where someone purposely causes maximum disruption or argument over a subject for their own amusement. It happens quite a bit on blog pages and forums, as well as Facebook and twitter. It can be fun to do to other people at times though, because usually people flip out about some small argument and its amusing to watch them wear themselves out trying to win, but the troll doesn’t stop it just continues the argument to the fullest extent, this is called troll feeding. Trolololololol

Somebody would be trying to prove a point, or write an “interesting” status about something, but completely disregard all rules in the English language and “tlk lik dis.” It isn’t needed at all, and if you are too lazy to use spell check, then you shouldn’t be on the internet.

I think the most annoying online behavior is when someone says things online that they would never do in person. Sometimes I think people don’t realize that what they post online still gets seen and still counts towards them. People shouldn’t post things they wouldn’t say to someone in person.

I think it’s really annoying when people bully each other and when people make fun of people on purpose. It’s illegal and sometimes it’s even worse than normal bullying. It irritates me so much and it’s probably the most annoying thing on the internet. People don’t really care to learn about so there’s no point of paying people to come to the school and talking about it.

I think that people who talk about their problems on Facebook or Twitter. They are Social Media Sites, not your therapist. People who post their life problems are annoying because, usually, they just want attention. I see a lot of people who do that and it get really annoying. People need to learn that other people, most people, don’t care.

I think the most annoying behavior online is when people complain constantly about their lives on facebook. It’s so annoying because out of everyone on facebook, 20% of them don’t care about your problems and 80% are glad you have them. Also people don’t like to listen to others complain 24/7. If we educate fellow highlanders to only talk to a few people about their problems rather than the whole world, people will be less annoyed by others complaining.
They should get a therapist and not bother other people on the internet.

In My opinion the most annoying online behavior is people go on Facebook way to often. I’m “guilty” of doing so myself. I think we can have restrictions ON FACEBOOK that can allow only to go on for a certain amount of time.

I think the most annoying thing is when people fight on social networks. They’re made for communicating with others in a good way. If you really need to fight with somebody, do it privately or in person instead of having the whole world know your problems.

In my opinion, the most annoying online behavior is when people post on social media websites about parts of their lives that nobody wants to know about. For example, “Went to the mall today!” or “At Dairy Queen!”. Many people find these types of updates annoying and not entertaining, so there is really no upside to posting them.

Online is a place where you can have fun and it bugs me when all i see is people talking about how their day has been terrible and they are sad or anything like that. The most annoying online behavior someone could do would be to post, blog, link to, or imply something that really gets to the nerves of others. Such as swearing, useless topics, or even just random junk you don’t want to see. This kind of stuff can really get on peoples nerves quickly. Most highlanders are respectful of profanity on the internet, but they could be taught to not post completely random stuff, that doesn’t coincide to the topic.

If I take my time writing something to you and make it look nice and easy to read, I don’t want a response with no capitals and the minimal amount of vowels necessary. This is annoying because it isn’t nice to the person receiving the nonconstructive and sometimes mean criticism. In my eyes, the most annoying thing a person can do online is harass or bully another person. First, that person could cause serious depression to the person they are bullying because not only does everyone see that, you cannot get rid of it completely. Another thing is that bullying is not OK, if you are going to do it at least do it to their face where less people will know to make fun of them. If a person wants to make fun of another person for how they look, act, talk, etc. then why not just avoid them. Maybe that person was born with a problem that they cannot help. Just because someone isn’t your definition of beautiful or hot, doesn’t mean that they are ugly. Put yourself in their shoes, and think about what your saying. Or, if you see this happening to someone you are close to, stand up for them, the people who know what’s right will chime in after you!
